No. The League is free for every school and every student.

1. Choose one teacher as your RWL school representative. They handle registration and are your main contact with us.
2. Your representative downloads the LaunchVerse app and signs up for the school.
3. If a partner organisation sent you an invite code, enter it in the app. Your school is verified straight away.
4. No invite code? We call you on the phone number you gave at sign up to verify your school.
5. Once your school is verified, you receive your school code. Share it with your students.
6. Students download the LaunchVerse app, sign up with the code and create their profiles.
7. Your representative approves each student who joins. Students then pick a hunt and begin.

You can also refer to the App walk through video on the website that takes you through each step in detail.

Students can enter alone or in a team of 2 to 4. To enter alone, a student taps “Register team or solo” and chooses solo.

Only one student registers the team: the team leader. Everyone else waits to be invited.

1. Every team member first signs up on the LaunchVerse app with the school code.
2. The team leader opens the Founders hunt, taps “Register team or solo” and chooses team.
3. The leader tags each teammate by name, username or email.
4. Each teammate gets a notification and accepts.

Once a student accepts, they are locked into that team and cannot join another Founders team. They can still enter other hunts.

Your RWL school representative can see every team in your school, and everyone in a team gets the same badge and recognition.

Your RWL school representative meets your participating students regularly to keep them on track and supports them if they get stuck. They also have the opportunity to attend our RWL Mentor Certification Program and get recognized for the mentoring and support they provide to their participating students.

From the day they join, every student gets live masterclasses with founders, creators and artists, feedback on their work from students across India, and a verified LaunchVerse profile. Submitting their work earns a badge and certificate, and the further they go, the more they unlock, from fellowships and mentoring to national recognition.

Everything they earn stays on their profile, so a student who does not move to the next round still leaves with their work, their feedback and proof of what they can do. Moreover, between Round 1 and Round 2, we will also bring in more opportunities to explore, open to every student, not just those who advance.

Evaluation is multi-modal: it combines peer feedback, AI evaluation, mentor feedback and expert evaluation, and each round uses one or more of these, depending on what the round asks for. In every round, the criteria are published in advance, work is compared only within its own hunt, and peer reviewers are always students from other schools.

Every hunt in the Real World League goes beyond a certificate. Over several months, students build something real in the field they choose, whether a business idea, a video or a piece of art. Along the way, they get feedback from peers and from mentors who work in that field, and keep a verified profile of their work whether or not they are selected.

The strongest work also opens doors to fellowships, scholarships, incubators and mentoring from founders, creators and artists. The very best become eligible for the ₹1 crore Launch Fund: a grant pool to help them take their work further.
